Measurement

Students explored measurement using cubes.  Some awesome conversation came about as they discovered they could arrive at different answers based on where they started measuring and finished.  How could two people measure the same object and have differing answers?  We had fun talking and learning about where to start measuring, where to stop, how to count your cubes and then double check by counting again.  The students had fun exploring with their groups and challenging each other as they explored measurement for the first time!
