Measurement exploration

Students continue their exploration of measurement using baby feet and basketball feet. What are the important things we know about measurement after a few days of exploration?  

• It matters where you start measuring
• accuracy is important 
• the smaller the item you measure with, the larger the number it takes to measure the object and vice versa
