Mrs. Walter's Classroom Blog: Mystery Reader #2

Mr Walter surprised the students by reading Robert the Rose Horse by Joan Heilbroner. The kids loved hearing how Robert the Rose Horse used something that he struggled with to help others.

Friday March 15 - Read - A- Thon launch

Friday March 22 - No school Spring break begins

Monday April 1 - School resumes

Read -A- Thon Spirit Week

Monday April 8rd - Wear a hat or a shirt with words

Tuesday April 9th - Bring a blanket and flashlight, reading in the dark

Wednesday April 10th - Reading gives you super powers. Dress as your favorite super hero or character from a book

Thursday April 11th - School Spirit Day - Wear Red and Black

Friday April 12th - Pajama Day and all school read in/pajama party, in the gym to celebrate the continuous reading all week.

Friday April 12th Read -A- Thon wrap up - All money due

Friday April 12th - Westwoods Cheers Collaborative Art Night at Hotel Indigo (adults only)

Friday April 19th - No school

Thursday May 2nd - Music Informance 12:30 in the Fine Arts Room
