Readers Retell Stories

Students in our classroom love to retell stories.  Here is a short clip that I caught during some free time after a student finished their snack.  Watch how the students looks at the picture and then uses the storybook language that he remembers.  

Retelling is a favorite activity in our classroom.  We use puppets, pictures  and storybook language to share these stories with our friends.
