Happy Birthday week David Shannon! The students are loving reading the pictures and retelling the stories written by a favorite author in our classroom David Shannon. We read and reread his books in any free time we have. Students completed a directed drawing of David, the main character in many of his books. This was a great opportunity to see how the students follow directions and what shapes they can draw. Be sure to look for these at Parent Teacher Conferences.
