Students love the independence that comes with literacy centers. Many students are engaging in activities that support them in their phonemic awareness, phonics and writing skills. Students are meet where they are at in each of of these skills. If students are not yet able to be independent or don’t have the stamina to work independently, they engage in small group guided activities with the teacher.
