Read to self

Students are building stamina every day Reading to Self.  They are practicing: staying in one spot, eyes on the book, reading the whole time, making the words they speak match the pictures, using story book language to make the reading more interesting.  I love to scoot in and hear their amazing skills.  You are going to be amazed how fast they grow and develop as readers.  Take a video monthly and be prepared to be in awe of this exciting process.
