Reading Buddies with Mrs. Johnson's Class

The students LOVED reading with Mrs. Johnson's class today!  The practiced introducing books to their peers by telling them just a bit about the book then giving them a reason to read.  This is a very new skill (book introductions) and requires comprehension and higher level thinking about text rather than just decoding words.  Here are a few brave students that tried out a book introduction on a book they shopped for and read independently.
